Automatic brewster

THE PERFECT POT?: Both Hostess With The Mostess and O Magazine featured the new super-chic-looking teapot from eco-conscious company The TeaSpot. It's the world’s first Automatic Teapot, which sounds great, but I've heard mixed reviews (like this one from Tea Party Girl). The teapot supposedly has an integrated timer that you can set for the type of tea you want — black, green, or herbal — and then it automatically removes the loose leaves from the water at the correct time so you always end up with a perfectly steeped pot of tea. It sounds great, right? But what actually happens? While I was checking it all out, however, I came across The TeaSpot's line of Steeping Cups and Steeping Mugs in all sorts of fun colors, and I really think this is the better deal and I would assume these actually work. Has anybody tried these products and have a word to add?

Heck ya! My girls and I use our Steeping Mugs all day long at work - helps me keep going... and a great excuse for us to meet in the kitchen for a tea (chat) break!
