Week one results, it's quite random

And this week's winner is ... everybody. All seven entrants got six points for having chosen one of the quickfire winners and nobody chose the winner or loser. Basically, it's still completely anyone's game and we'd love to have more people next week when we're off to the zoo!

1. Quickfire — Since eight people "won" the deep-dish quickfire, I gave points to have everyone who chose, in no particular order: Richard, Mark, Antonia, Erik, Jennifer, Ryan, Spike and Dale. (Richard's tribute to the Georgia peach is pictured.)
2. Winner — Stephanie with a modern take on duck a la orange (Pictured)
3. Loser — Nimma and her salty shrimp scampi (Pictured below)
4. Gail complain? — She wasn't even on today, Anthony Bourdain had her seat. But either way, nobody undercooked anything, most was overcooked. No points awarded.

MY THOUGHTS: This could be a fun season. The previews show lots of fighting and some interesting challenges, and there are some crazy attitudes. Nimma's attitude was really annoying from the get-go, so I'm not sad to see her go. And, reading the bios, I was excited for Andrew, and now I feel like he's just there for entertainment purposes; half funny and half obnoxious. (Who doesn't know that mayonnaise is oil and eggs? Remember that elementary school science project?) Richard could be great or get too into his own ego — remember everyone's favorite Season 1 sommelier, Stephen? And I can't wait to see what we get from Antonia, Stephanie and Spike, my picks for the finale.
