Week 3 results: Throwing daggers

We totally need a new question four, but nobody's giving me any suggestions. If I don't hear anything by next Monday, I'll just make up a new one and I don't want any complaints from the gallery. Also, I was informed that there was an issue with posting comments, so if you have that problem again, just e-mail LookGirlBlog@gmail.com and I can hopefully fix the problem.

On to the results. This week the only person who got points was Kate for getting the loser correct, Erik. The chef field is narrowing, though, so I think we'll get some better guesses in the coming weeks. So, Julia and Kate each have one week-win and LookGirl, Julia and prettypants are all tied for first place in overall points (but everyone is very close on their heels since not many points have been awarded total). And, I'm basically in last place...

1. I am going to be honest and I missed the beginning of the episode because, get this, I was out for a run — surprising I know. (I felt I had to burn off some of the duck, lamb and yummy cherry-inspired desserts and cocktails I indulged on at yesterday's press dinner!) I came in right as they were announcing Richard as the winner of the quickfire (at left). I checked out bravotv.com to get a bit of an update and am sad to have missed the taco (yum!) challenge, but I'll catch the show on one of its 50 repeats this week.

2. This one I totally thought the Blue Team had an advantage from the very beginning, despite Nikki's complete ignorance of food. All the food the Red Team made, however, seemed so much yummier — and even the neighborhood thought so. But to that end, Stephanie's dessert, Mixed Fruit with Oatmeal-Pine Nut Crumble (pictured above), was the winner, along with her help on the lavender-infused soda.

3. I swear I thought the judges were going to throw Andrew off just for his rant at the Judges' Table, saying he refused to go home because they deserved to win! I was a little sad to see Erik leave, especially since his infraction I don't think was as bad as others (his soggy corndogs are at right), but he really took it well and knew that it wouldn't impact his future as an amazing executive chef.

4. Gail wasn't on this week to complain, so I didn't award any points here. I will come up with a new question.
