WEEK ONE: "Top Chef" returns Wednesday with 16 new personalities, skill sets and tempers — I can't wait! Bring on the cattiness. In the likeness of LookGirl fashion's "Project Runway" league, we're going to try our own fantasy league here, starting with the Sweet 16 (talk about timing!) chefs debuting on "Top Chef" this week. Participating is easy: All you have to do is leave a comment on that week's post by 10 p.m. EST every Wednesday night with four criteria. The first: Pick the winner of the quick-fire challenge. Winning picks are worth 6 points. The second: Pick the overall winner for the week. Winning picks are worth 10 points. The third: Pick the chef to pack up his knives and go home. Winning picks are worth 6 points. The fourth: This one will have a yes or no answer, Will Gail complain about her food being undercooked? Winning picks are worth 3 points, for a total of 25 points each week. You don't have to participate every week, but we're going to try something a little different; there will be two winners in the end: The person with the most overall week point highs, and the person with the total number of points overall. Does that make sense? To get to know the contestants a bit before the first episode airs, check out their bios at Bravo's Web site. My picks are the first comment below.

Since this is totally an open game right now with no previews of the challenges, I am going to simply throw names out there.
1. I think the quick-fire winner will be Erik. Cooking's in his bloodline, so he'll probably be quick.
2. The overall winner choice is Antonia. She's just adorable and seems to have a well-rounded culinary background.
3. Lisa will get the boot. Her favorite spring recipe sounds like a miss-mashed mess. But I think Stephanie, Zoi and Mark will be early losers.
4. No. I think Gail can't possibly complain this early in the season, but just you wait!
1) Quick Fire Winner:Dale
2) Overall Winner: Manuel
3) Gets the Boot: Richard, based solely on his dbag haircut.
4)Gail complain? Well of course!
I vote for Antonia winning the quickfire challenge. She has good experience and I think the judges would like to give the first win of the season to a woman, considering Casey's downfall last time. I think Manuel will win the first week, his resume is definitely impressive, and puts him in the chef-to-beat category. I'm going to go with Zoi getting the boot, she has very little experience outside consulting. I think it's a little early for Gail to complain, so no on the fourth question.
Totally guessing here...
1. Dale: he's got Asian influences, and if we learned anything from Hung it's that Asian food is cooked FAST.
2. Andrew: only because I love his spring recipe.
3. Valerie: I just think she's lame.
4. No. I don't think she'll complain this early, but she might want to start off tough and scare them all!
1. Richard. I was going to vote him off because I don't like his hair, but he's an Atlantan, so I have to give him the benefit of the doubt.
2. Manuel. He has a nice smile.
3. Lisa. She's Canadian.
4. Yes. A season's not a season unless something's not done.
1. Spike will win the quickfire--looks like he likes to make burgers and hotdogs, so maybe quick cooking will be his shining moment.
2. Antonia will win the elimination challenge--she's well rounded, and I'd bet on anyone from the French Culinary Institute.
3. Zoi will be kicked off--she's one of the self-taught chefs, and they never last long. (Although, I think Mark is another good bet.)
4. No--or, not yet. Sure to happen sometime this season!!
1. Quickfire: Antonia
2. Winner: Spike
3. Loser: Lisa
4 Gail: Yes
